Fight night

I'm sitting here, watching UFC Fight Night and, boy, do I love it! I'm gonna be there one day. It's one of my many dreams. I want to fight against the best fighters in the world. But, in any case, my journey is not yet over. My training progresses daily. Sometimes the schedule changes, but I'm trying my hardest. I want to be strong. I've ALWAYS wanted to be strong. So, here I am, pursuing it again. This never-ending quest for strength... of body, mind, spirit. I miss my fights with my friends (no, not the drama-bringing kind). You learn so much about a person in a fight. Anyway, I suppose it's not important. I will find someway to advance.

My training is focusing around three main things right now, which break into smaller things:

Strength- explosiveness, sheer power, sustained power
Endurance- ability to take a hit, "wind", muscular endurance to the MAX
Fighting skills- Striking, grappling, defensive skills

I need to start sparring more. My friend here at USC and I are supposed to start a USC Fighter's Club soon, centering around MMA-style fighting. That will be awesome when it finally happens. Soon, though, if he doesn't go through with his part, I'm just going to do it myself. Of course, he's a grad student so he's REALLY busy, so I understand.

Wow... this is really long... well, for me anyway. I suppose I should draw this to a close. To my friends out there, I miss you guys. Anne, John, Jeremy, all you guys. Phill, I hope life is treating you well out there in the flatlands of Texas.
